Salion Energy’s technology is based on aqueous sodium-ion electrochemistry combined with proprietary cell architecture optimized for high-power operation.
During operation, sodium ions shuttle reversibly between the electrodes through a water-based electrolyte, following a rocking-chair mechanism that enables rapid charge–discharge cycling.
